Silflex® is a wound contact layer, made from polyester mesh coated coated with Silfix and soft silicone. The hydrophilic silicone gently sticks to dry skin around the wound bed, preventing traumatic dressing removal.

Features and Benefits:

  • Conforms to the skin’s surface for gentle adherence
  • Atraumatic dressing designed to minimize pain and trauma
  • Large 2mm holes allow for passage of exudate
  • Can be cut to size for desired wound coverage
  • Hydrophobic silicone coating prevents dressing from adhering to the wound bed

Indications:

  • Acute and chronic wounds that require protections
  • Skin Tears or Abrasions
  • Surgical Wounds
  • Leg and Pressure ulcers
  • Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (as a primary dressing

Instructions:

  1. Remove the clear liners on each side of the dressing and place directly over the wound. Silflex may overlap the wound edges.
  2. The dressing can be cut to size ensuring sharp scissors are used.
  3. Cover with a secondary dressing of choice which may be an absorbent pad or film dressing.
  4. Silflex may be kept in place for up to fourteen days depending on the wound condition.

We have a 30-day return policy on items that have never been used, that have the original tags, and a proof of purchase. 

However, some items can be exchanged or returned depending on the item and the reason for the return. Typically, this is due to the item being defective or not working within 30 days of your order.

Items that are NOT exchangeable or returnable after being used include, but are not limited to the following:

~ Needles, syringes, needle containers, diabetic supplies, etc. wound care dressings, bandaids, bandages, gauze, etc. 

~ Lotions, balms, CBD oil, any liquid, or gelDiapers, bed pads, sheets, urinary supplies, etc. 

~ Open boxed items that are meant to be sterile or used for PPE

~ Other items deemed harmful and contaminated if used

~ Any item deemed non-returnable by management.

To start a return, please contact us at sales@wasatchmedicalsupply.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package, or delivery it in person.
